My News Intake
As much as I love going on social media, relaxing with the TV on, online shopping etc... I always have to take a few minutes a day on staying up to date with what's going on in the world. These are some of the News sites that I find myself checking on a daily basis, or at least try to!
1. CNN
I find myself checking CNN every single day when I wake up in the morning. Usually, with very important News posts, I will automatically get a notification on my phone. That one notification leads to me clicking on it... and then clicking on another article... and then getting distracted in the news world... and then definitely spending more time than I should be scrolling through articles. I guess there are worse things, right? My dad always used to tell me how important it is to be aware of what's going on in the world, even if its just scrolling through CNN for 5 minutes in the morning. That stuck with me.

2. Bernews and The Royal Gazette
As I said under "About Me", I live in Bermuda, therefore I enjoy staying up to date with what's going on at home. Bernews is Bermuda's #1 source for breaking news, photos and videos and although I'm away at school, it's a way for me to stay connected with what's going on at home. Bermuda's small, 20 miles long and a mile wide for those who aren't aware, however, A LOT happens on a daily basis so I try to check these two websites every now and then.

&
3. E News
E News is probably my favorite news source to look through on a daily basis. Although I don't necessarily always look on their website to stay up to date, I see their top stories through their social media. They incorporate pop-culture news daily on their social media pages, such as Instagram and Twitter. Following E News gives me an insight into what's happening in the celebrity world and catch me up on trending stories having to do with today's media.

4. The Washington Post
Every now and then, if I'm in the mood to learn more about what's happening in the political world, I tend to find myself scrolling through The Washington Post. On the top of their website there is a "Politics" label and this section changes so rapidly, I find it intriguing.

5. ESPN
You're probably confused. She's from Bermuda why on God's green earth is she a Boston fan? Well, my dad's from Boston so I grew up watching the Patriots, the Celtics, the Red Sox, and the Bruins. So I guess you could say I'm a pretty big sports fan and if I don't have time to watch a game, ESPN is a way for me to get the latest sports news.
